Topic: Copy Clone Purchase Order with GRNs
|
| By: Guest | Posted on: Mar 11 2021 at 07:46:29 AM | I used the copy/clone feature on a completed purchase order. The new purchase order that I just created shows up in the "Completed Purchase Orders", and not in the "List Purchase Orders".
How do I move it into the current PO list? Or is the Copy/Clone PO feature just worthless?
I cannot figure out a way to

I just tested this and it works correctly. Are you using a really old version that still has that bug? The bug, 5 years ago, was then when a PO was cloned it also included the 'Completed' flag, ie if the original order was completed. If you're stil using an older release of the software and want to keep that release then, after cloning, just go to the new order and edit something. Simply double clicking into a quantity box will do it. That exposes the 'Save' button. Save and the order should then appear in the list of incompleted orders.
But, As I said, the problem was fixed so you shouldn't have it in any release since March 2021

The new order initially displayed the shipped quantitiy columns from the origiginal order. It didn't affect the order everything was cloned correctly - it just 'looked' wrong and potentially confusing on the display.
That's been fixed. | |
